Coles is one of the only 2 supermarket giants in Australia with over 700 stores across the continent and widely acknowledged as being one of the world's fastest growing retailers.
Brief
We were asked to develop a sub-brand for Cole’s meal recipe deals which would stand out against a background of many different campaigns and recipe types.
Solution
Our simple but striking approach features a knife, fork and plate in the strong colours of red, white and black; this simplicity helps the design to work well across a wide range of different collateral. Supporting icons were designed to differentiate between various recipe types, such as value, fast and healthy. We also created a visual toolkit for the generic Feed Your Family campaign’s in-store communications, using a scrapbook feel.
